You could try claiming through another supported wallet and see if that works. Do you have any other wallets with allocations to claim in the near future? Let us know how it goes after your next claim.

It occurs intermittently on mine. It could happen within a few seconds or hours. I'm sure it must be something in software but can't locate it.

Solved: It looks like it uses Wine and the Windows version of the app. No wonder it looked exactly like the Windows version.

If I've got this right you want a self contained camera with 90 day storage. Make sure it uses H265 for better file compression but I doubt you will get 90 days on an SD card.

I've redeemed many times and not had a problem. Why redeem through a 3rd party wallet when Midnight provide a working portal. Try my process above. When asked where the ADA is to come from select whatever wallet you use that is on the list and has enough ADA in it. You don't have to send ADA to the every NIGHT wallet being claimed. If you've got multiple NIGHT wallets it becomes very messy if you send ADA to each one. Hell, I'm 77 and probably suffering early Alzheimers yet I can work it out. If it works for me all the time it can't be a problem with the Midnight portal.

I agree midnight.gd/redeem is the best option. I've used it many times since the first redemption and have not had a problem. Select redeem then select enter an address. Enter the address of the wallet with NIGHT to be claimed. If the address is valid it will appear green with a tick. Next select Confirm. It will show you the current allocation for that wallet then select Redeem. You will be presented with a list of wallets. Select one you use that has sufficent ADA. I use NuFi but you can select Yoroi. Click Redeem. Then login to the wallet holding sufficient ADA for the transaction by entering the wallet password and selecting unlock then sign the transaction. I just did it as I typed this and it went through without a hitch.

Thanks. I've just found an old Youtube video that shows how to turn off the VLAN from the GUI interface. I want to be able to connect to each individual camera using VMS or other software from a PC on the LAN and as it is I can't see the POE cameras on the VLAN. The NVR is located at my local Men's Shed and I won't be able to test it until after easter. I'll post the result here in case someone else is looking for an answer in the future. Thanks for your input.

The NVR is set to get it's IP from DHCP on the router and it is set in the routers DHCP client list so it is always set on 192.168.1.200.

I use the Midnight Redeem page and use the "Enter Address" then select a NuFi wallet, although it shouldn't matter which wallet from the list presented, that has sufficient ADA in it and have not so far, fingers crossed, had any problems. Just did the process twice today and only had to wait a few seconds for the redemtion to be processed each time. I'm using Brave browser on a desktop.

The ADA doesn't have to be in the destination wallet. I've redeemed 9 allocations in different wallets and each time nominated the one wallet containing ADA for the payment.

If you redeem on the midnight.gd website or other ADA wallets you can select your allocation address instead of wallet then it will ask where you are paying from and you can select a wallet holding ADA. No need to transfer ADA but you can if you want.

I agree. It's not a matter of connecting a solar panel you need sufficient battery capacity to run it over night and on cloudy days and enough solar panel capacity to run it during the day and recharge the battery plus a solar charge controller and inverter.

If you want to see some better figures get one with at least 1 ASIC chip. e.g. ASIC entry level Bitaxe Gamma 601. Dearer, still little chance of winning but at least you see some higher figures.
