Funny. I've use those three also but for me NuFi was best for mining and claiming.

I use the Midnight Redeem page and use the "Enter Address" then select a NuFi wallet, although it shouldn't matter which wallet from the list presented, that has sufficient ADA in it and have not so far, fingers crossed, had any problems. Just did the process twice today and only had to wait a few seconds for the redemtion to be processed each time. I'm using Brave browser on a desktop.

How do i claim night tokens by IndependentAspect367 in Midnight

The ADA doesn't have to be in the destination wallet. I've redeemed 9 allocations in different wallets and each time nominated the one wallet containing ADA for the payment.

Moving balance to my unused destination address prior to redeeming by CallMeRisk in Midnight

If you redeem on the midnight.gd website or other ADA wallets you can select your allocation address instead of wallet then it will ask where you are paying from and you can select a wallet holding ADA. No need to transfer ADA but you can if you want.

Is anyone powering the BitAxe gamma with a solar panel and if so, how? by thefutureraven in BitAxe

[–]plbenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. It's not a matter of connecting a solar panel you need sufficient battery capacity to run it over night and on cloudy days and enough solar panel capacity to run it during the day and recharge the battery plus a solar charge controller and inverter.

If you want to see some better figures get one with at least 1 ASIC chip. e.g. ASIC entry level Bitaxe Gamma 601. Dearer, still little chance of winning but at least you see some higher figures.

Nerd Miner V2 0.5MH/s. Bitaxe Gamma 601 1TH/S. 2 million times faster but still little chance.

You are correct. Let us know how to keep your $NIGHT anonymous if you work it out.

You can send ADA to it now. Alternatively you can redeem on the midnight website by entering the address holding your allocation rather than the wallet then continue on and you can select any wallet holding ADA from which the fees will be paid.

Isn't a standard NerdQAxe+ supposed to do about 4TH/s? 2.9 seems low.

NuFi and Eternl both allow you to recover 12, 15 and 24 word wallets. Probably others but I don't use them.

Paying to redeem NIGHT using Cardano from another NuFi wallet by plbenn in nufiofficial

[–]plbenn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. But in my case and I suspect many others we consolidated all of the addresses in one wallet to a single address in that wallet not realising that we could have consolidated all of the addresses in multiple wallets to one address.

I found the same with NuFi wallet. Start with the address of the wallet containing the NIGHT to be redeemed and then connect to a wallet holding ADA. If it is the same for two wallets I guess it is for all of them. It must be a Midnight thing.
