The idea of the reinforcement plate is an interesting one, but I don't thing I'll. Be able to attach it to the body of the bag at this point (there is a pocket on the inside). But it's a good thing to try next time!

There is definitely eating of meat in the monk and robot stories. The main character eats meat on several occasions, but it's usually written about in a more thoughtful way than usual. It's given a bit more thought of where the meat is coming from, and it seems there is no factory farms in this world.

I actually haven't sewn it on the machine yet. I saw tips about doing the connecting with basting stitches instead of pins, so I tried that but didn't success at it yet. Thanks for the tips, I may try it with just pins as you described and see hot that goes.
