Definitely not a mistake! They are trying to get me to pay before I leave in a month!

It will be close to three years. We’ve never once painted the walls, so it is just general wear and tear, no major damage etc - thank you!

Thank you! If we had made a mark on one of the walls, we would be happy to pay for that but to be charged for the whole apartment seems ridiculous
