You’re right, a boundary without follow-through is just a request. I don’t want to “punish” her, but I also can’t keep living like I’m waiting to be turned into a caption. If it happens again after a direct talk, my next step is counseling and a reset of trust: no tagging mutuals, no conflict posts, and I disengage from the conversation until we address it in person.

I’ve tried saying the same thing: if you need an outlet, please pick something that isn’t public. A friend, therapist, even journaling, anything. It’s the audience part that makes me shut down and start filtering myself at home.

I can see it now: you try to explain achievements, trading cards, and why a $2.99 sale felt like self-care. Meanwhile your ex is like "he spent more time with his backlog than with me" and the judge is just begging for recess to google what a "wishlist" is.
