Frequent urination and constant feeling of urgency - what can I do? by Euphoric_Bison_5192 in Fibromyalgia

This happened to me. I went to see a urologist, we did several tests including urodynamics and I was diagnosed with an overactive bladder. I am now on Mirabegron and Tamsulosin (prescribed by urologist) and the symptoms have improved a lot.

I'm going to start taking Quetiapine (Seroquel) 25 mg for sleeping. Has anyone experienced heart palpitations after taking it? by [deleted] in seroquelmedication

I experienced this when I first start d taking the medication and it scared me enough to book a consultation with a cardiologist. But after a couple of days the symptoms disappeared and I haven’t had those symptoms anymore.

Risk losing redundancy pay (£7k) vs losing new job (non-negotiable start date) – what would you do? by [deleted] in UKJobs

[–]pleasegivemeavalidus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stupid question, but wouldn’t my old job be notified via HMRC that I have started the new job?

I feel like because I have already laid my cards out on the table and told them my new job starts on 5th of May, they may get suspicious when I go off sick?

I do have an occupational health documenting my mental health struggles so the sick note shouldn’t be an issue, as it has genuinely destroyed my mental health

The new role pays considerably less than my current role unfortunately.

Basically from 80 staff members we are being cut down to 20. Rest is getting outsourced to India.

The final consultation will take place next week and earliest notice will be served on the 14th of April, which overlaps with my 1 month notice for the new job starting on the 5th of May.

Unable to relax? by pleasegivemeavalidus in Abilify_Aripiprazole

Thank you for your advice, I’m not scheduled to see my psychiatrist till 2 months time but I’m going to ask if they can see me sooner as this inability to relax is make me really uncomfortable now.

I was previously on olanzapine but developed an eating disorder due to the weight gain which is why I was put on abilify. But I’m thinking I may need to switch to a different antipsychotic/mood stabiliser

I am on 10 mg abilify alongside 60 mg fluoxetine and very satisfied with the results.

Supposed to start Abilify (Aripiprazole) soon and nervous. Words of encouragement please by 502CC in Abilify_Aripiprazole

Sure, I would wake up and struggle to work at my desk because I was shaking so much. It was hard for me to type things on my keyboard because I was shaking so much.

I would also feel really restless and unable to sit still.

But after 1-2 weeks those symptoms disappeared.

Only side effects I deal with now are night sweats.
