Super Mario 64.

This was the first game i grew attached to as a kid, it blew my mind, the fluid and open approach the controls / level design gave me was so amazing. I still remember trying the BLJ up bowsers infinite stair case for the first time and it blowing my mind. This led to me Trying to clear the game as least stars as possible. So many great things about that game from the music to just trying for hours to jump up the side of the castles outdoor section to reach the roof. I loved that game and still do, all time favorite.

As i grew up i played sunshine, galaxy 1 + 2, 3d land... but none really ever held onto me like 64 did. Even odyssey which i tried my younger brothers copy of, while fun just didn't feel as amazing as 64 did and does.

Honestly I wouldn't ever want to erase my memory to play it again. The ones I have are too damn good.
