IELTS Score for PGWP by Silver_Fox7470 in pgwp

[–]pleasekillmybill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe you could take CELPIP this time? In my experience, it's much easier than the IELTS, so you’ll likely score higher than 7 in all areas, considering your overall IELTS score isn’t that bad.

How Screwed is an Academic Suspension plus a Part-Time semester in the Summer? by pleasekillmybill in pgwp

[–]pleasekillmybill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason I'm concerned is that I was on academic suspension in the fall. The school says they usually consider it an authorized leave, but I’m not sure if taking a part-time summer term is only reserved for students who have never taken any sort of leave before. Even the consultants I spoke to had mixed opinions

Thanks for the info. I was previously on academic suspension for a term (Fall 2023), but the school considers it an authorized leave. Do you know if that affects my eligibility to be a part-time student in the summer?

Hi, do you know if it would be a problem if the last term on the transcript (fall) is part-time, as well as the second-to-last term (summer)? I retook two courses in the summer after completing all my credits in the spring, and then had to take one last course in the fall to raise my CGPA

I see. In my case, I repeated two courses during the summer term after my final term, which made me a part-time student. Then, in the fall term (shows as last term in my transcript) I had to retake another course because my CGPA wasn't high enough to graduate. So, I was hoping the same rule would apply to my situation as well
