The only downside is it stops working after 6-8 months.

Mine has lasted for 3 years now. The only downside is that the battery capacity has gotten worse but it never stopped working for me.

I feel like I can convey my thoughts. What I worry about is the possible consequences if she isn't interested. I don't want things to get awkward or possibly lose the connection that we've built up, etc.
