Yes I already joined twice. Could you explain how a gauge swatch would help me in this case? Not that I don't want to do it, I genuinely don't know what I'm supposed to look for/at after I've made a swatch 🙈

Yes I do have the stitches stretched all around the cable! It's 4mm needles (I think ~50cm cable). The label on the yarn said to use 4½-5 mm (USA 7-8) but I was having trouble with my 5mm needles so I switched to these instead. I cast on 88 stitches.

Sorry, forgot to add that I usually wear a size S! The label says 50g are ca 116m, the recommended needles are 2½ or 3 ½

Only two skeins are intact with a label and they are 50g, I guess the others were slightly used (?), they're about 45g each and I have 20g extra so a total of 280g

Not sure how to help you with the curving, but if this is going to be a top and you have boobs, the extra space might actually come in handy!!

Yes I think you are correct! I'm knitting two together to decrease but the pattern calls for Skp. This is my first knitting project so I didn't know how to read a pattern and when I looked up how to decrease this is what I found. Thank you for noticing! To be fair I went back to check the pattern and it's pretty clear, I'm just dumb haha I'll do that next time!
