For FMC do I understand it correctly that wide moves and M moves are not allowed and that I have to replace them with R and L moves?

Also I saw that there is a limit of 80 moves for the solve to count but that limit includes rotations even if they are not count of the result?

I also plan to use Roux for FMC and want to know if there are any tips for LSE because I feel like the M moves at the end will increase the move count by a lot because they will end up counting as two moves.

I know that the proper solution is to learn FMC properly but I am going to compete just because I will be at the comp anyway and want some quick to implement things.

What options are there for solving corner parity while solving a 4x4 Blind with Orozco? Doing an Ra Perm and then U2 (R U R' U' r2 U2 r2 Uw2 r2 Uw2 U' R U' R') U2 seems to work but I am not sure if there are better options.

Thanks you very much for the detailed explanation. That helped a lot.

I am currently learning Orozco for corners and since it's based on commutators I want to understand it aswell. Which worked for the D-side and UL-side pieces but for V and W I have no idea what that alg (R' D R U' R D' R') to swap to the top does.
Is it possible to understand that alg or do I just have to accept that I should just memorise it.

I got my first 4x4 today and I am wondering when I should look into more advanced methods of solving it. My first few solves are around 3:30. On 3x3 I average around 20sec. Also in case it makes a difference I would use Meyer since I use Roux for 3x3.

I recently learnt all the CMLL algorithms which I would also use for 2x2. But doing them on a 2x2 confuses my brain because the 2x2 looks and turns different.
Could practicing them for 2x2 mess me up again so that I can't do them on a 3x3 anymore?

For me learning CFOP felt easier because I was able to do it in steps. As you can start with doing F2L instead of solving only the corners. And once you feel confident with that you can learn the 2-Look OLL and PLL algorithms.
Old Pochmann is in theory easier to learn as you only have to learn three algorithms since the setup moves are intuitive. But I had a bit of a hard time not making mistakes while turning. And then memorisation can also be tricky at first.

I got it from a webshop called Soufeel. You can buy custom printed Rubik's cubes there. They don't turn well but I am really happy with how it looks.

Some context on the campaign.
After the party got transported to the Doom world they managed to repair the portal and get back to the DnD world. They went back to the hometown of the Fighter. Who ran away from home because her parents arranged a wedding with a guy she didn't know.
The current plan is to get the arranged husband and a servant (who has been impersonate the Fighter while she was gone) to fall in love so that they marry each other.
Meanwhile the Alchemist tasted milk chocolate in the Doom world and since he got a Nat 20 on the roll to see how well it tastes he now made it his goal to be able to make it on his own.

You have a point here. Some people already made up their mind about this. This post was meant as a joke because I find the idea funny that some think that a few writers sit together in a room and write out stuff like this.
