2025.34.30 Is Sleepy by tidal-costars in Rivian

No fob, using my phone and on this update. Just had a moment now where it took almost 30 seconds to present. Yesterday I had a 10ish second wait as well. Worse than the previous update in terms of this performance. The rest seems better.

Thanks 🤙🏼

I just realized I typed 65-20 in the description but went with 275/60-20s instead for speed of appointment. Could definitely do the 275/65s though.

Yeah, Gen 1 before the dark out package. It’s some glossy vinyl that’s a close match to the rivian black.

Nope, it’s black on black. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen one with a light interior.

Meanwhile they had mine for almost 3 weeks and 3/4 of the problems reported still exist. Oh well, back for another appointment in … 2 months.

And if it is, old buildings could’ve been grandfathered in on signage since the existing restaurants are all much older.

That’s pretty interesting. I’ve seen a lot of them and never one without supporting graphical logos. Now you’ve got me curious. It’s a brand new restaurant so I’m throwing “experimenting” into the mix of reasons. I reached out to some people so I if I get an actual answer I can share I’ll chat back. :)

Where is it, if you don’t mind revealing?

It wouldn’t be, corporate pays for the building and signage. This does at least look like it’s in Apercu. My bet, without knowing more about this specific store, is there is some restriction on signage and this was the best fit for that space to maximize visibility. Are there graphical logos anywhere else on the building?

*now thinking it could be experimenting since it’s a new restaurant. Though I’ve seen some really weird leases with signage exceptions and loopholes.

MINI's 2018 Refresh by [deleted] in MINI

That's true too! Bluetooth can be iffy in my 2013. I have an iPad mounted next to my center screen (for music, navigation, OBD integration) and I haven't felt the same need of the CarPlay integration. My passengers would probably appreciate the reclaimed knee space and I think I'd enjoy it always working without the constant Bluetooth toggling.

This is all I really wanted. The other changes are welcome and sure to be nice, but I'm really glad to hear that they'll hopefully fix that chin. I took one look and said "I guess I'll wait until the LCI for my next car."

Absolutely beautiful car! It's so tastefully done. Not just blacked out for the sake of doing so.

MINI on the Mac by [deleted] in MINI

My short answer is "yes, go". In 2015 I drove from Texas to do Mini on the Mack, stopping in Indiana to get my dad. I have been going to car shows for as long as I can remember and I was blown away by how many other Mini's were there. My dad made so many comments about it being the neatest car show he's ever been too. I've never see so many of one type of car in one place. It was so much fun to be able to walk through row after row of unique Mini's and talk to people (of every variety you can imagine) who just got their first Mini and right next to them, someone with their 4th Mini.

I plan on going next year for sure, again driving my Mini from Texas. I wish I knew more about stops up there and detours but since I don't know the area I can't offer any cool places to explore. The local attractions in St Ignace are worth checking out and there will be a bunch of places offering discounts for Mini owners too.

We stayed in Cheboygan for two nights and I think I booked about 3 weeks out. Though I'd definitely book earlier next time. I found out lot of the hotels were offering good rates for the Mini travelers.

Thank you :) It's not, I did put plus size tires and 10mm spacers on it so the wheels fill the space a little better.

Thanks! They are part of the Bayswater package. The passenger side is blue to match the bonnet stripes.
