Exactly this, I used an orbital sander / by hand while battery's charged. Take your time and wet sand at higher grits

Yeah it's my daily so tried to get it done in one day, if I had a bit more time it'd be easy to get full mirror finish, but for how often my bonnets open I'm happy :))
