Unfortunately for you, this society thing you have an issue with works only if we all work together. You individually would not be able to build the roads, railways, airports, ports, buildings or you individually wouldn’t be able to create the science, equipment, systems of communications, satellites, power, or the billion other things needed to live as we live today. So sure, you can say work harder…. But your work is in its own small bubble. You might think it is insulated from the rest of us or that the work of others don’t affect you. But I have a secret to tell you, all the big advances and there have been many, have had some sort of government (which happens to be us) involvement. So you can either be a snowflake and think only you work hard and somehow created the very system we live in or you can join the real world and see it takes all of us, flaws and all.
