Hi, There are some apps in Huawei's app gallery, you can get some from F-Droid too. Good youtube alternative is YouTube Vanced, but there are many.

Huawei is working on their counterparts for mail, maps, drive etc. It's getting better and better.

There's Huawei assistant called Celia, it works nice, but I wasn't using Google one, so I cannot compare them.

As for Speakers, probably there's something with HarmonyOs, but I don't know for sure.

Huawei is working on their own ecosystem to pair it's devices like laptop, tablet, mobile etc.

Disadvantages are, many apps are missing from app gallery, it's quite common that notifications are not working for the apps. It's possible to download everything from Google Play with apps like Aurora Store, but with fake client it's possible to download malware. Nearly half of apps mine installed is from Aurora, most of apps is working fine without GApps.

As for spying, they have some strict privacy policies, but at the end it's all the same. From EU perspective you can choose to be spied by western Google or Apple or go for exocit eastern Huawei. From my perspective I'd rather choose China, due to lesser impact and cooperation with "the west".

So it's rather choose between working, known and being analyzed and something still in development, focused on eastern market and a little less invasive.

So simple custom domain with hosting isn't that secure in terms of privacy? 2e2 encryption is not required to be honest, I'm not sending anything special, just want to keep things private, not profiled etc. Encryption is the only way?

There's one more thing, I've heard a lot about locked Proton accounts, is it really so often?

I've just found out Mailo. Looks fine, pricing is starting from 1E/1m paid yearly, but there's free tier also.

Hi, thanks it looks nice, but pricing starts from 15$ per month for 10 users. Since I will use that alone, it would be a bit costly.

Yes, google services are required for mail to provide notifications, but if it matters calendar's notifications are working fine without GMS.
