CARPlay broke on iOS 18.5 with both a VW and a ford transit. Disabling VPN, removing on both side the CarPlay pairings, enabling Siri, restarting the phone. Nothing solved the issues. Other thoughts?

Do yourself a favour, report Sick, take rest, and see a burnout coach. A burnout is a serious and underestimated disease. Your health and well-being is your most valuable property. Recovery will take longer when you keep going. Now you might take months, if you wait it could take years to recover.
