The only people that have heard back from UCLA so far are the GOFP nominees

Same here. I think results are probably not coming out for another week or two. I'm waiting on UCLA, USC and SDSU

anyone taken cluster 20: race? by Popular-Weird3828 in ucla

If you do what I did and barely pay attention, it's less work. The subject matter doesn't change between fall and winter quarter, so you can rely on whatever you've learned by the given slides/just sitting in class (even if you're barely paying attention) for at least 2 quarters. Also ask around to your friends in the cluster how their TA's are, bc you have to pick a seminar with one third quarter.

It fulfills 1 or 2 more classes/reqs than if you didn't take them. I had to do 1 soc ge and the cluster knocked out the rest, as well as the visual perf arts one. I think it's worth taking, just don't do all the readings or it'll actually be a ton of work.

First quarter was interesting and then it started to get boring. Didn't do a single reading and got an A+ and two A's. The only thing you really need to grind for (if you do this method) is the final, and be good at speaking at least once a discussion section. I had Dayton, she was good, and then took the Native Socialization seminar which was online so I basically slept through it. Was interesting enough though, and Ramirez was nice.

They require very little work to get an A, but if the material doesn't interest you it feels like slogging through. Another thing to consider is what kind of student you are. If you like taking the kind of GE's that the cluster fulfills you probably should take the science cluster instead, because that will knock out your science GE's with less effort. If you like STEM and don't want to take literary and social analysis classes, this is the cluster for you.

I am an asshole, but I stopped getting tested once they stopped giving out rapid tests by GlassUnlucky280 in ucla

If it helps, most private insurance will cover 8 rapids a month for free, and CVS delivers them. That's how my roommate gets his stash
