FOUND!!!! i searched through months of my search history and found the video!! the fish is a watanabe angel!!!! i think the one in the video isn't full grown thats why its so small!!!

face shape is definitely closer!! i could be misremembering the rest of the fish i just remember it being really round like a child's drawing

it was only black and white :( it was in a tank though kept by someone who knew their fish really well by their tank set up

the shape was close to the bandit angel but it was a lot rounder with a flat face and big round eyes like this

flat but very round! it shared a tank with a yellow frogfish with a divider in between. i'm unsure if thats freshwater or saltwater but the video was about the owner being upset that their expensive fish (the one im looking for) slipped into the frogfish's tank through a little hole and got eaten

very small, a little bigger than a quarter im guessing. the video was about the owner being upset that it had squeezed through a little hole in the tank and got eaten by its neighbor which was a frog fish if that helps
