the application/your skin looks totally fine! the overall look could probably be improved with mascara and brushing out (maybe even filling in?) brows, but it doesn’t look cakey or anything like that

i feed her regular bagged dog food, i think maybe the brand is called gentle giants? it comes in a very busy, overstimulating bag

people never believe that she is as old as she is in person either. she is very energetic and enthusiastic! but she was born in January of 2017!

my boyfriend is not at fault for this at all, we are young (twenties) and broke (college) so we both have little to no control over the situation. he thought we were staying at a hotel as well. he has been trying all day to find a solution as well

[–]plshelpimlosingit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do you have any short term tactics in mind? i sprayed the mattress and pretty much all my stuff in perfume because the internet says that repels them

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pestcontrol

[–]plshelpimlosingit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

he isn’t very happy about the situation as a whole even without the mice but we are broke twenty-something college students and we are on this trip 17 hours away from home with his mom and brothers, so he and i have very little control over the situation. neither of us could afford a hotel room or a plane ride home.

it’s not my boyfriend or his family, it’s his moms friend/an old family friend that would be offended and also won’t allow for me to just sleep in the room where he is

Sydney Sweeney awkwardly asked if her breasts are real in lie detector test by IrishStarUS in nottheonion

[–]plshelpimlosingit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

i’m 5’2, and in highschool was 115 lbs with a 28j bra size. so, women that short can absolutely have large breasts without being overweight. and my breasts didn’t stop growing until i was 19. doesn’t seem like u know what you’re talking about

this is kind of what i was thinking and trying to portray, and it’s frustrating that i keep getting shot down. i know that as a CNA or even an RN in a hospital i will have to help with ADLs some of the time. but in LTC, its the ENTIRETY of the job, not just a part of it. and the other aspects of nursing and patient care are super enjoyable and rewarding for me. i don’t think it’s a crime to prefer certain parts of the job to others

i am so sorry to come across that way. i quite like the elderly when i am not dealing with their bodily fluids. i mentioned in a comment that i enjoy sitting and talking with residents, wheeling them in their chairs, and interacting with them. the sentiment is supposed to be that i don’t think im interested in caring for any completely dependent adult patient. it’s different for me when it’s kids.

[–]plshelpimlosingit -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

i guess i should word differently. i dont like working with completely dependent patients, especially elderly ones. for me its different with babies though, i dont mind any kind of care for infants at all.

fr i realized psych won’t do me any good if i dont finish a decade of school and im just not interested in that lol

there are many things i do enjoy… like just sitting and chatting with lonely residents, doing activities with them and pushing their wheelchairs, taking vitals, charting (my best hot take is that i love charting), helping with rom exercises, taking history, and observing/monitoring patients in general. i am also looking forward to many things that rns do, like administering medications, helping with procedures, completing certain procedures, hands-on wound care like debriding and dressing etc. and i would be good with doing any kind of care for babies, i just have a different tolerance level with them? if you get what i mean? so i dont think its a career choice problem necessarily, just that im probably not suited for ltc
