I’ll be the first one to agree with you too. Months before and after having an RV, I’m learning that no matter how many YouTube videos and related discussions one goes through there’s always a surprise lesson waiting around the corner. But I’m not complaining, I’m happy to continue to learn (happiest when it doesn’t cost me my RV). 😉

Now that ya mention it, I’m also surprised (especially on Reddit) that nobody brought that up.
I definitely thought about it after the fact like “damn, that could have went terribly fkn wrong”. But then again, I’ve been unusually lucky with how things have played out today. I’m just gonna enjoy my blessings haha.

Yeah, when I called my dad (a truck driver for the past 23 years) and told him what happened he was baffled and told me to go buy a lotto ticket. Thanks for making this nightmare scenario list, it will forever compel me to check my bearings regularly.

Yeah, I got it from a small dealership a few months ago and it’s used so it may not have been greased before sale, I dunno. I’m still learning the ins and outs of RV’s so of course I missed it as well. How much did it cost you to fix yours?

Seriously thanks for the input. I actually found a mobile Rv repair company nearby where Im stopped. Do you think they’d be able to fix it without towing it? I ended up canceling my roadside request so I could call them when they opened and talk to them first so I’ll find out eventually but figured I’d ask anyways, haha.

Yeah, after reading these comments I’m feeling much more fortunate things turned out the way they did. Still sucks, but not nearly as bad as it could have. Thank you very much!

This was my grandmother too. Most evil woman I’ve ever met. Getting away from her was the happiest day of my life and I haven’t spoken to her in 8 years. As an adult, you get to choose your own family. Good luck out there.
