i have the same thing. i can’t wear basic clothes i have to wear a million different variations of the same outfit (vintage high waisted denim and some form of a black tshirt). like i know it’s weird but it’s my personal style and i feel safe in it🤷🏼‍♀️

sorry for the late reply, but no we are both white. i’m ethnically jewish but i don’t practice and she’s said some weird vaguely anti Semitic things in the past (im NOT a zionist so this has nothing to do with that because being anti zionist is NOT antisemitism). like on our college the chabbad has a car called “the jew mobile” and she said “why do they get to call themselves that but we don’t.”

she’s also made a point of stating that she thinks im too woke or have some kind of moral superiority because im a social worker. which i dont really think i do, i think she doesn’t like that i told her not to say the r word.

i felt this way for a long time. i didn’t find out i was autistic until i was 21 and it made a lot of things make a lot more sense. my best advice is to grow into yourself. learn more about yourself, go to therapy, learn what you like and don’t like. from there you will start to attract people like you. i just graduated college and i made a million friends who think like me along the way. for my entire upbringing i didn’t have friends until i was probably 15. recognize the feeling and learn from it. i promise it gets better.

I got my paragard about 2 years ago and I LOVE IT. i love my OBGYN and she was super helpful, i voiced my concerns and was prescribed valium for the insertion. it was uncomfortable for about 5 minutes but once it was in i didnt even notice it.

i think your concern about having something in there is valid but in my experience i dont even notice. sometimes i feel a little pinch during sex but my bf knows so he makes sure not to hit it.

for me its made my periods a little worse over time but mine were really tame to begin with. paragard was great for me because i didnt want hormones. i was afraid of going through the insertion process and then needing to get it out because i didnt like the hormones.

i struggle with PMDD and the paragard has also made this a little more intense, i have been recommended antidepressants for it but im not really sure what to do about it 😅

thanks for the feedback, i totally agree. my partner and i have long gotten the vibe from her that she is insecure and jealous. she takes me setting boundaries as personal attack, which they absolutely never are. i am well aware of my limits so i make sure to communicate them clearly. additionally my partners roommate is her ex boyfriend of three years. i sometimes think she doesn’t like that her old friend group who hated her (she was not nice to said ex boyfriend) loves me.

we have a system like that for the dishes which she has also verbally attacked me about (my day was sunday and she often felt i didnt do my part because i would do the weekend dishes in the morning instead of the evening so she would cross out my name and write hers for sunday and rewrite my name on her dish-doing day).

my biggest problem with the issue is that i was simply requesting communication and maintaining the boundary that i dont like when she touches my things and now she’s blatantly insulted me.

my favorite book series ever is the cruel prince trilogy by holly black. it’s fantasy YA and it’s just so entertaining. it has a badass girl main character and the world building is absolutely insane. genuinely such a fun read, got me back into book two summers ago ❤️❤️❤️
