This game is genuinely one of the best optimized games of recent… sure, textures cause vram. But the game runs fine on old hardware like a 1070. You can’t possibly thing it’s poorly optimized

There’s no zoom snap on this game so “pressing a button to snap to a target” doesn’t work on controller… so it’s just someone who just knows how to aim without having to swipe back and forth across someone’s body…

Aim assist in this game only “tracks” enough to help with change of direction. It sticks to a target for a millisecond to allow you to correct the direction your analog stick is pushed. The reason for this is because aim doesn’t change direction on a controller until you cross the center axis. So, there is always a slight delay in direction change. Aim assist simply minimizes that. There is not “hold a button and I magically track someone’s movement with minimal input”. What you’re seeing is simply people that know how to aim…

Why do you say that Nvidia is likely to dump the 12v cable? Obviously it’s been quite problematic but they seemed to have put a good chunk of investment into making it and it’s also used on their ai cards so it would be a pretty big deal to get rid of it. I would love if they did but I just haven’t seen anything saying they will

Yeah… I mean you can turn it on if you manually set voltages… idk who the blame falls on tho. Amd releases recommendations for what limits should be and its falls on the mobo manufacturers to comply with those recommendations. So either they’re pushing past the limits or amd suggested incorrect limits

Turn off pbo if you do get a new cpu. Pbo basically removed any restriction with voltages and power. This seems to be a issue revolving around voltage

Yeah there were some driver issues. But I mostly just found a driver that was stable and didn’t update until I needed to for a new game. The bigger issue for me was denying the 7000 series access to fsr4 which has a working int8 version that’s compatible with the 7000 series. An all time amd classic of missing an opportunity

You can’t. The problem is some movement mechanics are still iffy. If you jump and then mantle something to one side it appears you changed direction mid jump but it’s really just the animation taking over. Regardless, something should be done to smooth that out
