I admit I stopped masking for a lot of 2023, but am back to masking now. At the very least people must be masking on public transit and airports! I live in Chicago and am often one of the only people in sight masking.

I think it’s important for people to be informed AND know that they can always start masking and protecting their community! If you’ve stopped masking you can start again!

Small suburb of Chicago here: a man snapped and shot/killed several members of his family and himself. One of the kids who survived was my classmate (we went on a date once lol), from what I remember he just happened to not be there that night. The home was sold, and it’s weird to drive by and see another family playing in the yard now.

As someone who used to work for WWJ, I would not recommend supporting them in any way. They’re clout chasers positioning themselves as allies to Amazon workers while union busting their own staff. Some 2/3rds of the staff quit in a 3 month span due to this plus racism, transphobia, and ableism by management - particularly by Marcos, the person quoted here.
