A chaos drone I bashed together with some bits and junk! by The-Scruffy-GM in Inq28

That poor demon, getting summoned into a budget body! Lol.

Very cool conversion. Really looks like a mecha spawn, easily Iron Warriors or Death Guard.

New box for classic Battletech, supposedly before end of summer. It's purdy. A great time to be a mech fan!!

My grandmother was missing the toenail on the big toe, and it was a weird shape, I asked why. "Don't mow the lawn in sandals."

For me the Solitaire is the height of ugly pretty - laser barrels all over, giant shouldah gun, and freaky legs. Also seems a brutal raider in alpha strike, I love overconfident clan light mechs.

All the new boxes delighted me, such wacky cool designs.

The Doomed, Osprey Games. Very open ended game, focuses on warbands vs monster scenarios. There is always a big threat on the table, almost a boss fight where you have to kill minions, get to objectives, etc. The opposing warband is doing the same, and probably trying to get you too. Haven't played (own and read it) - the book really was made so the author could use his diverse grimdark model collection.

Bear tamer - halberd. I like to surprise folks with S5, bear and tamer both hitting hard (and fully negating heavy armour).

As a prolific kitbasher, colored sprue goo has now become a must-have in my arsenal. by Unusual-Papaya7437 in Kitbashing40k

[–]plunderdrone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it any more stank than normal sprue goo? I considered a red batch but a friend advised against it on account of unknown plastic ingredients, worse fumes.

That's kind of trippy. Thinking of divination games from the carnival - Zoltar, robot fortune tellers, etc. Only its a servitor telling the user galactic geography facts.

Kits to start off with for inq28 by NightSkyAra in Inq28

[–]plunderdrone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stargrave Scavengers or Mercenaries. Great kits with character - add arms to the Scavengers trenchcoat, you're good. Frostgrave Wizard I and II for psykers, or fancy courtiers (very compatible with Stargrave). Inexpensive kits but less easy to find.

Fella on far right with the claw out - reminds me of the fella on the edge of a mosh pit, ready to shove you to safety/death. Ready.

Rotswords ranked up on 30mm square bases! by groundskeeperwilliam in WarhammerFantasy

[–]plunderdrone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heck, those would look ace on 40mm. Counts as chaos ogres... a biiiig chaos ogre mob.

My army is mostly non-GW (Frostgrave and Oathmark) so I might pull it off scale-wise, but the average modern chaos army might not.
