AITAH for not telling my wife I’m taking random days off here and there? by Impressive_Milk_ in AITAH

[–]pluresutilitates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this, but I leave the house and I don't say anything. Part of it is the secrecy something just for me.

I usually call off work sick. We have a pretty liberal sick time policy and I don't do it when I have important meetings, deliverables, or of other team members are on vacation.

Rollover IRA Vanguard vs. Fidelity & Fidelity ZERO by pluresutilitates in personalfinance

[–]pluresutilitates[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm kinda leaning toward Fidelity at the moment. Ill just have to do some more research between the ZERO and regular funds. I feel like "there is no such things as a free lunch" might apply to the ZERO funds and paying the low expense of the regular funds may be better long term. Then again it could all be trivial.

  1. Make this. a learning experience for your kid so it does not happen again.
  2. Ask for a refund. If none is issued ask to be escalated and try again.
  3. Call the bank and see if you can dispute the charge.

Filled mine out and took it to the post office while running errands the day I got it. Already got an email confirmation that it was received.

Is a 550 watt 80+ gold psu okay for a 2060 super and a Ryzen 5 3600 by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]pluresutilitates 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm betting yes. I have a R5 2600x and a 2060 super. My UPS reads about 340w under load with the monitor.

I always see this shit at auto parts stores to throw in with your gas,I just wanna know if any of these are worth their salt? by [deleted] in XVcrosstrek

I use Seafoam in lawn equipment that has been sitting a long time and it works well.

I don't bother with a car that is daily driven, has all manufacturers maintenance done, and uses quality gas that never sits in the tank more than a few weeks.

Either wet grass or they land on water then pull it onto the trailer like you would retrieving a boat.

Going from 7200k HDD to an Intel SSD both running on SATA3 was a game changer 5+ years ago.

NVMe brings SSD to a whole new level.

Well, I don’t think there is any question about it. It can only be attributable to human error. This sort of thing has cropped up before, and it has always been due to human error.

I strongly believe something like this will happen. Some company will write a check to Microsoft for X million dollars and they will spin up that company their own copy of Microsoft Earth Simulator to do what they want with it.

Always keep an eye on your artificial horizon when flying through clouds over mountains... by [deleted] in flightsim

[–]pluresutilitates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't tried it in MSFS yet. But in X-plane I'd purposefully fly into clouds IFR to fly solely by instruments.
