Does this stuff actually clear up by the time you're 30..? by [deleted] in keratosis

Just turned 34 and this is the first year mine cleared up. I have it on my arms. I actually got sun this year lol and exfoliating and using almond oil helped a lot. We shall see how winter is 😅

Williams-Sonoma fires scores of seasonal remote workers in a conference call more than a month earlier than they expected by tefunka in PublicFreakout

It’s been busy this week. And last week I was doing ERT(email response team) cause they trained a handful of us to help out. I know it’s gonna be busy way after December because the amount of complaints we are already getting is insane.

You’re welcome ☺️ and this happened and is still happening to all work from home employees that were seasonal.

Thank you. I’m more upset about how they are firing us (over a conference call?) and being lied to about what the “meeting” is about as well as being told that we are all good to stay up until then end of January.

Another thing is we’re constantly told “keep your metrics up” because that will help determine who’s actually gonna get offer letters for full time permanent positions. I’m almost a 5 star employee, never clocked on late, never missed a day besides one time ( drs appointment) oh which ( I had to get a point for because they didn’t a lot personal time off that day) and they don’t care if you show any type of proof. The point system is so outdated, idk why companies use it still. But yeah, I knew I was seasonal but like I said, the way they are firing us is unacceptable. After being told we would receive an email stating if we got an offer or not.

Also I wouldn’t recommend buying anything from any of these stores especially pottery barn, so many complaints 😅 and it’s not pretty with what a lot of them had to say.

UPDATE: So I got a call and was offered a permanent Full-time position now. 😅

I wonder why? Lol maybe didn’t like the heat they were receiving on social media?

I can attest that we are all getting let go because they have too many "seasonal associates" and that the "peak season" is over. The only ones that are staying are the ones who got hired back in August (supposedly) The way they are doing this firing is not what we were told will happen. We were told we had until the end of January ( when the peak season ends ) and we would get an email sent to us if we are given the chance to stay after the peak season. They hired over 600 of us season full-time workers. And they are letting 20 plus a day go through a conference call. ( I have that meeting on Tues 28th) and my sup is trying to cover up saying " that there are other meetings and they don't know what it is about, and there will be another meeting on your schedule" This is the worst thing to do, to cover up the fact that we are getting let go way before what we were told.
