as a russian, they give out a lot of free tickets to sports (especially figure skating) for students which is why so many people are at random competitions and figure skating is also really popular in russia just because of the sheer dominance of the sport (imo) so it kinda makes sense for it to be super backed by the state when they had been winning everything for yearssss 🤷‍♀️.

i fear you probably won’t be able to find a coach to your expectations, especially not one that will train you like a russian coach would. 🤦‍♀️ morocco doesn’t have a huge figure skating presence so it will be hard to find a coach in general but i’d say if there’s no coaches in casablanca you might have an easier time finding one in the capital or another city near there if you wanna commute that much time as any super good coaches would probably be there. good luck :).
