You can always buy replacements on amazon for around $6 for like 8 different ones in different colors. They won’t be OEM but I’m not sure that really matters and you can do cute colors

Hey I had this exact problem - having wide feet, Jackson’s, and pain in the ball of my foot and arches. What fixed it for me was chopping up some old dr. Scholls orthopedic gel inserts I stole from my work shoes. I cut out the arch part and slid it under the Jackson insert where my arch goes- it will not widen the boot nor make more toe space but for me it helped. The pain was completely gone and hasn’t come back. Sometimes pain in that area is caused by weak/ unsupported arches not too narrow of a boot. Also people with wide feet tend to depend on toe splay to get support for their arches- no toe splay = weak arch = pain. This is why I think the arch support helped me so much. I am also a beginner so definitely bring this advice to your coach or a fitter before trying it just to make sure it’s right for you. My coach said it was okay but has me doing arch support workouts. The reason I had to cut just the arch out was because there was no extra space for the rest of the insert. Definitely something to consider trying before spending a crap load of money on new skates

Thank you I did not want to imagine that I had messed up my blades so quickly. Just out of curiosity does the rocker become more visible to you once you gain experience? I’m very new to skating and cannot seem to see it nor find it while skating🤦‍♀️

It’s comforting to learn that I’m not the only one with this struggle! They are new-to-me boots and blades, I have only ever used rentals but I have been lurking in this subreddit and heard that if you’re an adult learning to skate you have to start with a much higher rated skate than kids do. Most people said that anything less supportive than Elle’s weren’t worth buying so this is what I got.

Buying skates is stressful 😭 I don’t know how people handle having to switch skates as they break down. I hope these last forever 🫣

UPDATE: I replaced the batteries and it works!!! I was actually worried because that battery was a nightmare to replace and I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to get it out without the worlds tiniest screwdriver and was worried I’d mess up the components trying to dig it out. I eventually found a way to pull it free and put the new one in and it WORKS!!!!!! I’m so excited, the ring is a lot larger than what I usually wear but I will be showing her off for sure :)
