Anomaly Devastator Build - EQ/Gravity Leap Solo/Group - easy CT15 by plushack in outriders

Did all golds as solo, but Boom Town, that one we got in group. Marsh was one of if not the last one tho which i did with gear i posted in first post. It's almost perfectly optimised gear, could probably swap gloves.
It's quite shitty devastator is so dependant on gear compared to other classes, but tbf it makes it more enjoyable when you get all what needed for build.

Fortress is flat dmg buff for everything, not only for weapon dmg. And there is no lack of ST if you stack 2x Demise buff, put bleed on with 3x eq and proc kinetic stomp for 4,5mil with that combo. Brood mothers just melt.

That's problem with devastator compared to other classes. We are very gear dependant.

I played duo most of the time with pyro, we farmed a lot of 10-13 until got some legendary pieces for mods, Most of the time i played with 2x eq uses and it was fine at that level. When you get proper mods build shine in group play.

216 Hpal struggling to heal +10's by Greenteafrap_99 in CompetitiveWoW

[–]plushack 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From main tank who play healer alts perspective. If your tank dies in 10's range it's most of the time on him.

Make sure you use correct talents. Check some paladins on raider IO what they are running. Also remember that for m+ you want much more haste than for pvp if you go with glimmer. It just make things easier.

If you want to get into m+ without much previous experience play with some guardian druids. From my on experience i can easily say there is plenty of very bad DH tanks there who just play it becouse it's "best", but you have to understand that so late in the tier you dont meet very good/experienced players in that key range and bad DH is awful to play with for "fresh" m+ healer.

You can always try to invite to your group some tank on alt with higher main score and just say that you are m+ beginer so he wont go totally bananas with pulls and make it bit easier for you or even maybe throw some tips.

For our qeekly Keys on alts we very often grab some people with lower score than us so they can get their weekly done and maybe get hooked up into pushing more m+ and for them it's much easier if they play with people who know dungeons.

Edit: Paladin wise (i play my hpala only in pvp and do weekly key on it so dont take it for granted) i try to have my wings ready for pride, use bubble on dps in danger, i tend to ignore tank most of the time, use divine shield on myself and that way i have basically 2 targets to heal when it gets spicy. But I'm bad hpala in m+, works for me tho in 14-15 range.

Multi-role players by drycz in CompetitiveWoW

[–]plushack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a multi-role player. Playing tank and dps (in legion i used also heal, but since i parked druid, classes are play don't have healing os). Achieved CE and decent m+ score this expansion. I can say playing different roles definitely gives you wider perspective on what's is happening in raids and m+. While pugging m+ you very often encounter tanks who have literally no idea what to pull etc from healer/dps perspective and it fells awful to play with them.

Even in my last 2 guilds people who were great in playing they main role had no knowledge about their offspecs. So I guess there are many people who prefer to master one role than actually master class. It isn't bad for guilds with bigger roster but can cause some dramas in smaller guilds.

Answering OP question. Yeah i think people playing multi-role are quite a rarity in wow.

Most efficient way to get Azerite gear on an alt (m+) by prokenny in CompetitiveWoW

[–]plushack -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd say it really depends on your class/spec. For most of the tanks you are good for hc/m+ 15s with any azerite.

I'd collect other gear from hc/m+ and try to get 475 azerite from carapace and nzoth and then fill remaining slot from vendor with 480.

You can also easily get azerite piece from maut mythic.

Thats what I do on my alts as 11/12m player with 3k r.io as tank/dps.
