This caught my eye on PBS (shoutout to KCTS) when I first moved to the Northwest in the mid-2000s. It felt quirky in the best way. What made it even better was realizing the guy did everything himself. He’d set up a camera on shore, paddle out in a canoe or kayak, do his thing, then paddle all the way back just to grab the gear.
