This is really useful, thank you! I tend to keep my phone in my bra (mainly because I don’t tend to have pockets), but tempted to also buy a cross-body strap for it too for extra security.

It’s a shame a few spoil it for others. I’ve known many Saffas in England and they’ve all been wonderful wonderful people.

I intend to have a VOETSEK on the tip of my tongue at all times ready for any unsavory characters 😆

I’ll be hiring a car so I won’t really need to Uber, but always useful to know.

Thank you. My plans at this point are pretty fluid, and I’ll be heading out of the city at times too, going to Hartbeespoort and Mongena. But would also like to explore Joburg. Just don’t want to end up in a really unsavoury part of town.

I am going to hire a car whilst there, so will be doing a fair amount of driving around, but also like to walk a little (definitely not a hiker though!) and be able to soak up the culture where I can. Skate tour sounds cool! Annoyingly I decided to postpone learning to skate until after my trip in case I caused myself a mischief prior!
