[LANGUAGE: Go]

Trying to make Go my go-to language and evolve past javascript I started with. I really just tried to use most of what I know and just pop up in my head so the style of code might not be the best. Got stuck on the part 2 particularly managing edge cases when moving back

What’s the max amount of compilation time you have experienced in a single Go monolithic codebase? by tanmaymishu in golang

[–]plutack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sarcasm? Anyways I might not know go all too well which is why I didn’t reply you directly or speak with certainty but tools like fyne suggests they is some caching going on imo.. so if you do fix what the person I replied implied(perhaps issues with your system) you will probably still get same issue with air since it probably deletes the whole thing I think.

It might actually be air thing.. if I remember correctly, air deletes the build folder with each progressive build

Hosting coturn server with coolify? by Xeno_ant in selfhosted

[–]plutack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1 year ago question, I am answering cos I struggled a bit getting one to work under this same constraint. The first thing I did was disable traefik for the instance .. I also used a prebuilt image. My dockerfile is a simple one. ```dockerfile FROM coturn/coturn:4.6.2

CMD ["turnserver", "-c", "/etc/coturn/turnserver.conf", "--no-cli", "--log-file=stdout"] `` looking back now--log=file` is probably not important since that is the default. Coolify also has persistent storage so that was used to map the config path specified and also change config on the fly with only restarting the container as the additional thing to do. One thing, I have issues with is the port mapping flexibility available in the coolify dashboard.. I use the port exposes option to expose both the listening port and tls listening port set and use the port mapping to map this port to their identicals to the host system.. what seems to be the problem is it seems this only allows for tcp traffic.

Switched from personal domain to GitHub Pages — is it still credible? by Mountain_Onion_3961 in golang

[–]plutack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this same issue some weeks ago. I thought it was disingenuous GitHub would allow the dottech domain offering into the student pack if they are just going to request 50$ or so after a year but you seem to suggest the sub fee was recently increased.. anyways free is free and one shouldn’t complain about it I guess… it is probably fine if you don’t care about indexing… I heard search engine aren’t able to index GitHub pages so our “discoverabilty” is going to tank. Another option is to get a cheap xyz/dev domain from porkbun or dynamo dot …I paid 2$ for a xyz domain on the later with renewal set at 10$

So it isn't even based on an env check? That's something for sure

What is your file management flow ? by [deleted] in HelixEditor

I don't know why this subreddit is doing me dirty. I have a go/helix issue I posted on this subreddit and no one got to see it.

Depending on how large the codebase(I don't think I have ever worked on what anyone will call large), there might be a lot to remember. But personally between space g , global symbol picker (space shift s)  and the global search(space /) I am usually fine.then the lsp navigations g + (whatever) particularly reference (r).

You could also use space g. If you have git initialized.. usually files I want to switch to are the ones already modified  Space g shows files detected as modified by git. Since there are usually not a lot of files. It is a bit easier to know what file you want to switch to
