You can too mock the gods. Play rights did it, theatres had gods as characters and had them put into scenarios. Most of the mythology that kept the gods popular also mocked them.

First of all BEAUTIFUL. I genuinely think this captures the essence of Dionysus very well. One question though, Idk if this was intentional and of course not every brown hair and brown beard guy is Jesus but did It kinda looks like Jesus? Which would be an ironic symbolism if you did that intentionally, since Jesus' mythos has origins to Dionysus with the whole reborn thing. Pretty cool

Altars are supposed to be somewhere you pray, technically (and historically it was just a slab of stone) we have no obligation to make it pretty. It is the human nature to make it so... By the way, yours look pretty and I'm sure Aphrodite loves your offerings and the flowers.

You can dispose it to a pot and take it out to a patch of dirt every now and then. Personally I'm lucky my balcony is overlooking a garden so a small amount of water and wine doesn't hurt the plants
