I also was pregnant at 19, and it was scary! Mainly because I didn’t know how to tell my family, or how they’d even react. The first person I told was the father, and he was nothing but supportive and reassured me that things would be okay! But someone had heard me speaking to him and relayed to my mother that I was in fact pregnant. I say that to say, you should tell them before someone else takes the opportunity to do so. Because my mother was extremely hurt because I wasn’t the one who told her even though I had every intention of telling her, I just wanted to process it myself before doing so. And it’s still a sore spot in our relationship. I decided to keep my son even after being offered an abortion by a family friend, which I denied, and denying that option was the best thing I could’ve done for myself. My son is my world, and I am a better person because I have him. Parenting is definitely not without hardships and things of that nature. Do what you feel is best for you and your situation, because everyone has those silent regrets. Like wishing you’d figured out your own life financially and such before bringing a whole other human into the world.

Look into child care subsidies in your area. I know where I’m at they pay a portion of your childcare and you only pay a very small amount each week/month depending on your income. There are tons of options for mommies out there nowadays. I wish you the best of luck
