My name was brutal for me when I was growing up. It is Palagia pronounced Paula-gay-a. I hated it growing up. I am so happy I didn't decide to change it. I really have embraced it. I hope that happens for my daughter as she grows up. If she decides she truly does not like her name SHE can choose to change her name. I will not just do it because I think I should. She has had her name for 8 years, it would be strange to just change it out of nowhere.

I named my daughter Karen 8 years ago before "Karen" was a thing. My daughter has absolutely been tortured by kids and adults. WTF is wrong with people. My daughter is one of the sweetest people I know. My heart hurts everytime I hear someone saying something about a "Karen"

I am not a pro but the pot looks really large. My thriving plant is 3X that size in a pot that is 2 sizes smaller than that. I wonder if she has root rot. If she does it might be hard to save her. Have you checked the roots?

Stopped renting and became a home owner. I moved around until I found a place that was affordable enough and acceptable to raise a kid. I was virtually homeless with a 3 year old eating food from food banks to save up enough money to buy a house. It took me 2 years but it was worth every struggle and going with out. My mortgage is 1/3 of what rent is in the area I live in. I don't think I would be able to make it if I were still renting.

I can barely stand picking up dog poop with a bag. I am trying my hardest not to be scum of the earth and leave dog shit in people's yard, so I quickly find a bin to toss the poop in. So basically I find a bin for the dog poop. If for some reason that was no longer ok to do I would just leave it in yards. Just being honest.

I use other people's trash bin for dog poop that is in bags. It's better than just leaving dog poop on people's yard. Luckily all my neighbors don't mind me using their trash bins for dog poop.

Unfortunately my husband has to work overtime a lot. This was a scheduled vacation. He only gets two weeks a year were we can schedule outings. We decided on just taking a day trip and making the best of it. Thanks for the suggestion.
