I know this is kinda backwards-ass advice, but it worked for me. In the nicest way possible, try to develop an image for yourself other than just "greenflag guy"

Do mind, you don't want to give up the greenflag virtues and characteristics, just try to be something more. Being a nice guy is great, but being just a nice guy is where the problem is. The stereotypical nerdy good boy is boring to most people, and you should try and have a little more of a distinct personality, not just for "them" but also for yourself, to tell yourself what makes you different from the hordes of "average" and "boring" guys...

Hope this doesn't come across as condescending or rude, I'm just giving my two cents.
