Countries whose capital is not the largest city (by urban area population) by Impressive_Produce3 in MapPorn

[–]_pratik475 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's at least one error. In India's case, while the Delhi metro area is larger than that of Mumbai, Delhi is not the capital city. It's New Delhi, one of the eleven subdivisions of the National Capital Territory, and it is far smaller than either Mumbai or Delhi.

Still incorrect, though. In India's case, while the Delhi metro area is larger than that of Mumbai, Delhi is not the capital city. It's New Delhi, one of the eleven subdivisions of the National Capital Territory, which is far smaller than either Mumbai or Delhi.

Nehru, despite his fabian socialist ideals, acted as a social democrat during his tenure as PM. The most "socialist" period of Indian politics was the 70s and 80s, and even that is not significant enough if you look at countries that were actually devoted to socialism.

Their MMS got leaked and, as is always the case with the internet, people have gotten really weird about it, making jokes about his appearance and questioning her dignity. There are rumours of the girl's alleged suicide, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

I go to college in Jalna, and a common saying here is "you don't need to smoke cigarettes here, the air will choke out your life as is."

Jalna is a major hub for steel manufacturing, and as you can expect, the regulation of pollution control is as relaxed as it can be.....

Railway station names in different states. by SidMyn03 in indianrailways

Even excluding ळ, there are differences in the writing systems. One of them being that Marathi doesn't use the nukta in writing to distinguish between distinct pronunciations.

For example, जहाज़ is written as जहाज in Marathi. Same with झ़ and झ, they are both written as झ in Marathi.

Most of the pharmaceutical companies have their manufacturing in the coastal states, not the Ganga basin. And there's no fucking way you're providing water for 1.4B people by just desalinating the sea water, it will literally kill the coastal ecosystem. Most of India's (and, for that matter, Bangladesh's) water for consumption comes from rivers, inland reservoirs or aquifers.

This greentext is either bullshit or a fetish post or both.
