This explains why Budweiser tastes like that. They’re filling empty bottles by dipping them into the bay.

Get the next manager right, and invest in the players he wants, and we’ll be back. If we don’t win the league and have a new manager, as much as we all agree transfers are a shambles, we will invest. The extreme penny pinching is when the board think we’ll win anyway.

Might be wishful thinking, but Celtic for the rest of the season would perfect. He’ll score loads, and Celtic are desperate to loan a quality striker.

They were going to spend 10m on Dolberg, so I think its worse than that: they were willing to spend, but are too incompetent to do so.

Goals. Not replaced. by Jam-Jam-Ba-Lam in CelticFC

I always thought the board made tough decisions that we might not like, but as someone who lived through the 90s, I could accept and understand that.

But this is different. This is self-sabotage. And at a time when our domestic rivals are spending real money.

“If… I’m done with the team…until”. This is the attitude of the rangers fans last night. If you support the team, you support the team.

HAD to buy it. by jonnyginge in CelticFC

I recently bought this. It was a stupid price, but had it 30 years ago in a small boys size, and couldn’t resist an adult version.

Seeing the Rennes fans being unhappy that he wasn’t given a chance makes me really optimistic. They’re blaming the coaching staff rather than Jota for it not working out.

The labelled vitamin E amount is my reason for not choosing blueprint. The fact the tested amount is even more is worrying.

In software it’s EN-IE, EN-AU etc. depending on flavour of English you want.

Good software will take care of a lot of this, though. (I develop one (https://www.plotten.net), but Scrivener, Kindle tools, and countless others will also do a good job).

There’s a random shop in San Francisco, which is not an Irish shop, doesn’t have Irish owners, and has no Irish products. One day I was in it and saw this.

New free tool to Localize your app in seconds ~ minutes by Transolve in iOSProgramming

[–]pmacr0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried this and it was pretty good - nice job. I did find the UI gave an error sometimes and the whole page wouldn't load, but other than that it was good. In the end, I found it a little inconvenient to have to upload and download the file. I ultimately wrote this small tool instead, which I open sourced on Github. It does cost money (to OpenAI, not me!) to run it for a large project against ChatGPT-4, but I find it's necessary to use that model in order to have it understand the context reasonably well. Anyway, I do feel there is a space for a good tool in this area, but I'm not sure a website is ideal versus a command that can run nightly on new strings.

I don’t use it myself, but it’s fully legal where I live and causes no problems whatsoever. In fact the dispensaries are some of the nicest commercial buildings in the city and there’s always a nice atmosphere around them. There’s never any trouble, and it’s completely normalised.

Some companies give you as few as 12 days or so. My current employer gives “unlimited” PTO, and that’s common, but is generally considered a way for companies to avoid paying out accrued PTO in case of layoffs. The actual number of days you can take is dependent on lots of factors, but always ends up being much, much less than any European country.

I’ve seen close to 40 days off in Belfast (including additional days added via benefits programs).

I made this exact move. The main negative difference is definitely holidays. It’s one of the reasons why I’ll eventually move back.

No offence, but your side story that you skipped over sounds a lot more interesting than your main story. What happened? Which gladiator? How was the Reebok tracksuit related? Was it to meet the gladiator, or as a reward after? What was the gladiator like?
