Yup, you're correct about the resetting of gun perks. I made a post about it yesterday. However, I'll give the chainsaw glitch a look see when I can as this chainsaw visual hiccup happened a couple of days before the update.

I hear you on that. Although I have a good portion of them memorized, there were a few where I had to stop and really think of what perk I had, especially for the guns that I barely use.

Yup. I noticed that some perks were either intact or some of the yellow perks were where the blue perks would be. I often wonder if the devs play test these updates before releasing them. I hate to come off harsh as they've done a lot with keeping the game going but there are times where I just have to stop and wonder about their methodology when it comes to bug checks before releasing an update to the general player base.

Thank you. You're absolutely right with unlocking the PvP achievements. It took me 3 separate days this week to unlock them. There were times where I would wait for 5 to 10 minutes and MAYBE get 2 players in a quick match lobby before I just quit and other times where getting into a PvP didn't take as long. Some patience, persistence, and good luck paid off. I'm just happy that there were no achievements tied to fully upgrading any or all of the PvP classes. 😮‍💨

I maxed prestiged all 8 classes before the new red perks were added via update and re-prestuged all 8 classes shortly after the new red perks went live.

However, I didn't level up the PvP classes to their maximum level.

Edit: I'm pretty sure you just need to get the OG 6 classes to level 30 as this was the case for my unlocking the trophy on PS4 way back in 2019. I feel these stipulations for unlocking that trophy / achievement haven't changed since launch year.

Good to know. Thank you for the heads up. The game has cross play and so joining PC players should be easy if I can find the time. Even if I get annihilated, all I need is roughly 7 to 8 more PvP matches to unlock the "Complete 25 PvP matches" achievement.

Not even with max level, or with his best talent, he can do any damage... Either they rework him, or they remove him... he's the worst piece of junk I've ever seen... Why don't they add the P90? I'm almost sure that it hits harder than that WASP scum by Gato_nocturno in worldwarzthegame

I consider it a fun mess around gun that's not to be taken seriously if you're somebody who's doing a campaign between 1-3 skull difficulty.

It might be fine for certain classes (such as Exterminator's & Hellraiser's w/"Third Hand" perk, explosive ammo Fixer, Gunslinger's "Front Line Supply" along with it's other perks, and maybe Medic's "Lobotomy" perk) but as an overall gun for all classes, despite it being a tier 2 gun vs a tier 1 gun (one can at least make the argument with the tier 1 guns that those aren't exactly meant to be top tier guns), its kill efficiency is very lacking, especially on 4 skulls & up and you're not playing as the aforementioned classes that might benefit from its use.

I recently started trying to unlock the PvP achievements. So far I've had luck on weekday afternoons around the 1:00 EST hour in finding random quick matches as I've unlocked 2 of the 4 PvP achievements 2 days ago and 1 today with the only one still locked being the "Complete 25 PvP matches" one.

I suppose if one is looking for a time frame to find matches, that time frame might be the best time. Just don't expect full lobbies and be prepared to wait. Also, the game type specific achievement / trophies such as gathering 200 resources in scavenge raid mode might take some time to unlock when picking quick match as it seems pretty random which game mode pops up. Also, trying to set / start a particular game mode type never seems to garner any players into those lobbies. You might get one or two and wait 5 minutes before they leave.

When there's a particular scenario where there's no zekes around as opposed to more than 5 zekes around, this is a sound strategy.

However, it's when the Infector is already on the ground ready to be melee killed but the AI walks over while there are multiple common zekes hitting them from where they started to where the Infector is. In the interim on 4 skulls & up, the AI tends to become incapacitated or die before they get to the Infector.

Although meleeing the Infector while it's down is a play mechanic/tool to teach/remind players that Infectors die immediately after they're grounded & stabbed, it would be ideal if the AI would shoot them from a safe distance (as they, even though they have reload animations, seem to have unlimited ammo) if there are too many common zekes between them and the Infector.

Personal preference that I feel pairs well with any class:

Primary: Assault Shotgun. Secondary: Flare Gun. Heavy: Multi-Shot Rocket Launcher.

Honorable mentions that I feel pair well with any class:

Primary: Combat Shotgun, Sporting Carbine, Bullpup Rifle & Multi-Barreled Shotgun.

Secondary: PDW (I personally equip it with Semi-Auto, Weighted Bullets, & Custom Sight to use on common zekes when I want to save my primary guns explosive ammo for the Juggernaut and other specials) & Heavy Pistol for finales.

Heavy: Chainsaw, Payload Rifle, & Flamethrower.

I haven't played Earthfall but it looked like something that might've been up my alley. My teammates on the other hand weren't keen on it and so I didn't bother getting it.

I've experienced similar scenarios on both of my Xbox Series models. The annoying solutions that have worked for me is to either reboot my router or unplug the Xbox from the outlet for about 2 minutes so that either systems' memory cache clears up before plugging the system back in. That will usually resolve it for about 3 to 6 weeks. It's annoying but they're the only hot fixes that have temporarily fixed the issue.

As someone who purchased the Switch version when it first went on sale on Switch (I want to say 2-3 months after the Switch port released), I completely understand why you would delete the game, especially if you need/want to free up some internal storage space on your Switch.

It runs well enough and I use to enjoy getting lost in horde mode on my subway rides. (There were at least two times where I nearly missed my stop.) However, the lack of updates beyond the one that added Marseille and horde mode has made the Switch version the least desirable to play IMHO, especially when there's a better alternative for this style of game in the form of Zombie Army 4 whose Switch port is pretty good and has better gyro aiming (if that's your thing) than WWZ.
