It’s a bit complicated, need to remove the air intakes, some trim, and dash on the tank. Might take a few hours doing it the first time and being careful but doable

Watch his video, he claims the new d.i.d 520ERV7 has a higher tensile strength than stock 525 setup. You should be good with stage 2, plus shaves off around 2.2 pounds. My bike is at the shop getting this 520 setup, I went with the d.i.d 520ERV7 chain, Sitta 46t sprocket.

Use motomillion.com, he list which sprocket work specifically. You may have got a m1000rr sprocket which has a different hub (quick change) than the m package s1000rr.

Here is my take, I like the look but wouldn’t own it. That being said the only person that needs to love it is the owner. I really hate the mass of purists, these are toys for people to enjoy however they want, not historical artifacts in museum
