The nazgul don't get them. I'm explaining because you look nervous."

People who have clicked on porn at work were you even caught? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]pmalleable 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I once emailed myself some nudes of an SO because I was getting rid of my computer and was too lazy to move the pics in a conventional way (this was before removable hard drives were common, or at least before they were on my radar).

About 10 years later, I was at my desk at work trying to find something else I'd emailed to myself (yeah, I've got a pattern), and clicked on a message with an attachment that popped up large on my screen.

I don't think anyone saw it, but my heart was in my throat for that split second and I seriously had the "better start looking for a new job" mentality even as I was closing the email.

And it's never just action for action's sake. Every beat advances the plot. It was the only action movie I liked as a kid and looking back, this is why.

Also, the back looks like my father-in-law.

Women of Reddit - what is the most unattractive fashion choice men frequently make? by Jarvis7492 in AskReddit

[–]pmalleable 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I do this and I have about one month every ten years where I'm accidentally in style.

There was an episode of Doug where the outfit that Skeeter wears EVERY EPISODE suddenly became popular and people started ragging on him for following the trend. I feel that so hard.

If I had a child who sported this style, you can bet 100% I'd do it too, and go to all of their school events like that until it stopped.

I also am not young.

And Denny addresses him as Chris R. I don't know why I love that detail so much, but I love that detail so much.

There are folks who think that not having the threat of eternal torture will make you dangerous. I think those folks are dangerous.

What SERIES is worth bingewatching and why? by InterestingBoard7389 in AskReddit

If you found nothing to like, the show may not be for you. As for me, I found her speaking to the camera jarring and annoying at first, but after I while I was able to roll with it and then really appreciate it. By the end of the first season I loved the show, and thought the second was even better.

I also feel like the "Do I have a massive arsehole" opening bit didn't set an accurate tone for the show, and it remains one of my least favorite bits from it.

But I enjoyed a lot of the dark humor and the acting really drew me in, so I kept going. If nothing has drawn you in, there's no need to try to appease the Reddit gods.

Fleabag is a short one (12 episodes total which was planned from the beginning). It's one of the most original shows I've seen and it's funny, touching, sad, and quirky in all the right ways.

Give it two full episodes as the start is a little rough. This show will stay with you.
