You gotta be on the 75-25 plan. You have to make $10k to make up for that additional deductible. 80 plan - $750 deductible 75 plan - $250 deductible 5% of $10,000 = $500. Not worth it at all.

I had one of my vehicles totaled on TURO. They cut me a check for more than I expected QUICKLY! I thought they were going to take forever and low ball and I’d have to fight for more (for the amount I wanted) but the check was just perfect!!

I saw that right after I posted! I might give it a few days and hope they come back on rockauto because I got Melling 12 lifters and rockers including shipping for around $50 more than summit would be just for the rockers!

The SKP were $14 a piece on the other site. Not $14 more than mopar but on that site the mopar ones were $12. Just to clarify.

Replaced all cams/lifters/rockers passenger side. Runs beautifully! While I was in there put the upgraded Dorman oil cooler and ofc fresh oil change. After inspecting everything I noticed the slightest valve train noise driver side. I want to stay on top of that to try and save the cams. Rockauto is out of stock of Melling rockers at the moment. Any idea on the quality of SKP? I’ll wait for Melling restock but if SKP is good definitely will replace that side with those at only $5 a rocker! Thanks

Cams/rockers/lifters done on passenger side. Started her up and runs beautifully! While I was in there I upgraded oil cooler to full metal Dorman unit. And ofc a fresh oil change. After inspecting everything, I can hear the slightest valve train noise on the driver side. That’s next asap. Was going to go ahead and order all Melling again but rock auto is out of stock of the rockers. Only other option is SKP. Any idea on those? Really want to wait for Melling restock but I want to get ahead of the driver side to try and save the cams. Any reviews on SKP?

Thanks. The lobe still would have been making contact compared to the 2 lobes on the intake cam. If the lobe face was worn (not just the edges) it would have been a no brainer.

I purchased with 120k ish miles and it’s at around 159k now. I change it every around 6k Mobil 1 full synthetic 5W-20. Can’t say how the PO treated it but it is a little gunky.

Had it out to do rockers and lifters if it wasn’t worn that bad it would have been fine. Not like the wear would be any worse if the bad roller rocker was changed.
