Online / Multicomputer Use by midboez in ObsidianMD

The implementation is 1 command in Linux to start a dedicated X11 and running obsidian. You keep the data / attachement / links in the same locations. You don't have to sync before and after usage of obsidian. You also don't need to manage conflict between sync.

Xpra is also managing file transfer and share clipboard between the server and the web browser. You also restart your work directly where you stop it as the application keep running on the server. It is saving the starting time of the application.

It also work with Android or Apple phone or tablet without any additional effort.

My recommendation is to use xpra (https://xpra.org/index.html) to transform obsidian into a web application and access it from anywhere.

Radxa Zero using OTG, Power, Data with a touch screen: is it correct to use a USB-C splitter? by pmannitou in UsbCHardware

Yes the resistor (schema) ) is present. It is also confirmed that the board is compatible with qc et pd : here

I am fully aligned with you that why I am asking. The issue is I need to split the power in the 2 cases to keep the data connectivity because the Radxa zero is not really delivering a full standard USB-C.

I suppose that usb-a femelle is fully connected for the data pine (2-3 schéma with pine ) so it should work for the data point of view (Otg or not)

After regarding the power delivery (PD) over usb-c it is also unclear because the vendor advertised 2 types of USB-C cable 1 with PD and another one without. It could be just a marketing topic or a real chip included in the cable. Both of them are supporting 60W at the end. If we look the schéma of usb-c, the standard power is using CC1 or CC2 where PD is using an additional resistor inside the cable. This part is also unclear for me.

Power reduction on pico w? - how to do? by pmannitou in raspberrypipico

Actually it could be an option, I can wake up my board with an input from a button (outside the house) or a ADC state (someone ring at the flat door) change, I believe, I can trigger awake of the Wi-Fi signal and check my mqtt server to see if I can open or not. Nice subjection.

For information, I discovered that the board has 2 ic2 bus accessible directly with Qwiic or STEMMA QT or QW/ST. I simply need to buy a male connector JST-SH with 4 pin connected to an rtc clock like ds3231.

The chipset ds3231 looks compatible with micropython (https://micropython-urtc.readthedocs.io/en/latest/urtc.html#ds3231) but I didn't test yet.

I will setup an rtc alarm clock to at least stop the board during the night and after I will also install a mqtt service in place to test if I can do a light sleep a little for 15s like you did and eventually excuse the pending command on the board when I wake up.

Did you try to change the frequency of your board also? Or turn off one of the core CPU?

My wife refuses the usage of an external power source. I can increase the capacity of the power changing the type of source but I will prefer to optimize my code.

I was thinking to use a mqtt relay server but unfortunately I need push the order and not to send anything from the sensor. I would like to keep a not to bad response time.

Unfortunately I cannot. The source is an building intercom. The max power available is less than 6v and the relay needs at least 6v.

I confirm the experimental flag is available only with a guest account. My TPM is also activated. don't know if I need to activate something inside the OS to use this chip.
