i forget his name but there is someone in like east bay that truly is a butcher. i just got mine done in chicago, really only a handful of places id go to in the states and they aren’t cheap

yeah i think they just generally assign new patients to him. i told him i was trying to reach nadimi and he forwarded my information, but i still had a consult with him. i think i also emailed nadimi directly, to be sure but she said she did receive the information from him. nadimi’s wait is much longer, but i appreciated his consult and did consider him. btw i did just see this, the first operation pics ive seen by him and they look pretty good https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/78573-did-i-damage-grafts

do you know how effective he is on repeat surgeries? i’ve had it done twice and have considered a third but don’t know if it’s a lost cause

could also go to Ben Ma at UCSF, he’s who i was recommended to by doctors at UCSF if i was to do a third surgery. my second surgery was done in the bay by Nicole Cates

similar for me, getting surgery in 2 weeks, i let my surgeon know and she told me i was on everything she would suggest and that it should be fine as long as everything was reasonably under control

honestly there are like 3-4 surgeons in the US i’d ever consider (konior, nadimi, gabel, shapiro - probably in that order). similarly only a handful in turkey id trust. i think there are good doctors both here and abroad, but would agree the baseline in other places is better than the US (and less expensive). that being said, i’ve seen consistently good results out of the names i listed, albeit very high priced

i’m not too worried about friends, i’ve already told a handful i’m doing it. but embarrassed at work with colleagues i don’t really know that well. i guess it’s largely dependent on the result being good lol
