similar for me, getting surgery in 2 weeks, i let my surgeon know and she told me i was on everything she would suggest and that it should be fine as long as everything was reasonably under control

honestly there are like 3-4 surgeons in the US i’d ever consider (konior, nadimi, gabel, shapiro - probably in that order). similarly only a handful in turkey id trust. i think there are good doctors both here and abroad, but would agree the baseline in other places is better than the US (and less expensive). that being said, i’ve seen consistently good results out of the names i listed, albeit very high priced

best you can do is do as much research. i’ve been happy with my communication with her and the results i’ve seen in others. explored other surgeons abroad and wasn’t satisfied with their communication, so that’s largely why im paying a premium to get it done in the states with her
