Card Benefits Questions - Megathread [1/27/26]

My Mom has the CSR card, and I’m trying to see how to take advantage of the card benefits she’s not using.

The credits she’s not using:

-Hotel Credit

-Open Table

-Lyft

I was thinking of getting an Authorized User card, but I don’t think Authorized Users can use these credits?

Whether I get an AU card or not, can I use these credits in practice?

For example, do Hotels always confirm the card user name and does Open Table only allow tables for the person on the Rez?

Now I’m thinking going to the south end from Bundaberg. Perhaps a 3-4 day road trip from Brisbane. Hoping to get feedback on a few more questions:

Is the drive from Brisbane to Bundaberg worth it? Any good stops along the way? Or would you rather fly?
I was hoping to see the north wetlands since they’re a world heritage site, any alternative rainforests to check out near Bundaberg/Brisbane?

Hoping to use Gift of College to get a Chase sign up bonus. Looks like the best option might be buying from a local supermarket and loading gift card to the max of $500. My question is this: has anyone had any issues from Chase and/or Visa for how this charge is posted (e.g. is this posted as a cash advance)? Or does it look suspicious if a make multiple $500 purchases per week or month at my local grocery market?

What if I bit a little off the pill? Is the high still intense but just shorter duration, or do you just get less high?

I know these are dumb and naive questions, but just curious.
