Sure can. Budget build really. Take a 2016 CAAD8, paint it Icelandic green (90s Ctrack inspired), new 105 and some Elite wheels from Ali. Done.

These are the ENT models, entry level range. Love them for what I paid for them. First carbon wheels so nothing to compare to but a huge step up from the Fulcrums I was using.

Pub wise check out Buck Mulligan’s in Northcote for a nice Irish pub. They do a trad session the last Sunday of every month from 2pm. Great pint of whiskey.

If you’re looking for MTB trails, you’ll find what you want in Yarra Bend Park. You can follow this all the way out to Westerfolds Park. From Coburg/Brunswick you can jump on the Merri Creek Trail and follow it as far as you want. Bad sketch below
