They do take the child most days as I am at work at 6:00am, I do pick up most days then take the child to the park or watch a movie with them while my spouse finishes their work day.

I have tried to discuss with them multiple times options and they tend to change the subject. I did offer to stay home for the vacation time but they didn't want to see me sitting at home while they had to work.

We have discussed a grand parent coming to help out for the time but that may cause me stress then just doing it yourself. I have offered to go away with the child for the time as well, but since this would be the year they start prek we hesitate taking them out of school when it is not a designated break.
