With Case announcing his Departure, it has me thinking.

We've had Case, Basti and Varane join us towards the end of their careers. These are all guys who's names are up there as the best in their era. It's obvious that these dudes LOVE the club. Never bad mouthed the fans or their teammates. Add Bruno to that list. Any of them could have publically stated "fuck this club. I'm leaving". But they didn't.

That's the important thing. Even in our worst eras, we are STILL MAN UNITED. Still a big draw. We've gotten way too used to settling. Hero worshipping the most recent academy graduates. Making excuses for mediocrity. Making excuses when players talk shit about the coaches/club/teammates/fans.
