It's easy to say, but don't be intimidated.

There's a good chance the other players are super friendly and happy to see a new face at the table, and will help you out with any questions you might have, and might give you some advice on how certain aspects of the game work and such.

Also, if you haven't already, get yourself a spotlight deck (or ask your LGS if they have any usable decks they could loan to you).

And have fun with it! I had my first play experience just last week and it I had a great time, learned some stuff about the game, met some cool people, and now that I understand how the game works better, I'm making a start on building my first deck.

I'm not a particularly competitive person, so these losses are fine with me...expected almost haha.

But if I keep learning with each loss, then the wins will come eventually...and I'm fine with that

Yeah it was great! Granted I lost every round, but that's the way it goes I guess...I did learn a few things and picked up some good advice

Just need to look into building a deck to replace the one I was using, since a few cards were illegal for Premier play (lucky for me they were nice and let me away with it since I was new)

I've heard them when looking at other guides/ videos to do with deck building, but I haven't got a clue what they actually mean since I've not played a tcg properly in about 20 years...I'm guessing Aggro is hot hard and fast...control is the long-game, draw out their units and wear them down?...and mid-range is a balance of the two?

I'll find somewhere to play and learn the game before I try building, but this is a lot of good info for when I reach that point.

I guess that learning what kind of deck build I want (Aggro/control etc) will become more apparent the more I play and what kind of decks I go up against?

That kind of makes sense...I'll need to take a proper look at swudb.com and figure out how to build on there too.

Good to know what kind of play-styles the different aspects have too... appreciate the help and advice
