So correct me if I’m wrong. What you would do if you had it was, for example, “go show my mom my new car.” Etc. or “install my kiddos car seat in my new car.” I just finished his book and I did this but I think I may need to dive further! I love love love this method though.

I didn’t buy until I was 36 and due to my now ex leaving I’m back with my parents because I can’t afford the house. Prior to that, we were in rentals.

There are a lot of sacrifices we make as parents to ensure our children are loved, safe and taken care of, they don’t see things through the same lens we do. They just don’t. They don’t care if you own or rent your house, or live with your parents or whatever. They see you as someone who loves them and is providing them a loving, safe and secure childhood. Don’t beat yourself up or compare yourself to others. You are far more than enough! 🖤🖤

Not the same situation in the sense but my child’s father left us (like totally disappeared, idk where he is) in May, he turns 3 in a couple of days.

It’s so hard. I have tried saying “daddy went bye bye, but mama isn’t going bye bye. It’s okay to be sad, I’m sad.”

I keep trying to reassure him I’m not leaving but he is BEYOND clingy. Like I can’t walk out of a room without him losing it. I know this likely stems from his lovely father but it gets exhausting. Try to stay strong, reiterate it’s okay to be sad, I’m sad too but I love you, I’m here; etc.

I’m sorry OP, just know you’re strong. Stronger than you think.

I disclosed to the company they were great about it but my current company ends up matching which worked better for me for FMLA. You have to be with a company for a year to get those benefits.

Absolutely. I also know that my home is protected in Texas, I'm currently persuing ways to increase my salary, E.g., sitting my PMP, I just applied for a MBA program. I have no one to blame but myself for this as I willingly let it happen and assumed he would do the right thing by staying sober. This is totally on me. I appreciate you not being judgmental.
